Like
many Briggs concepts, the tied ridger is an ingeniously simple but
effective and robust device.
Designed to save water
by preventing run off as well as helping to reduce soil erosion on
lighter soils, the ridger creates small dams between potato rows.
A three-point linkage mounted implement, requiring no pto power, the
ridger incorporates heavy duty paddle wheels which gather the soil
before releasing to form the dams at regular intervals.
