The Hosereel Phone Link has been developed to give growers more efficient use of their irrigation systems by avoiding down time.

In modern times a lot of land is situated many miles from the farm base and this system which is designed, developed and built in the UK will alert the operator of a problem and enables remote interrogation and control of the hosereel irrigator.

The system is designed to be used from any telephone, including mobile phones and can be fitted to any new or existing machine with the Program Rain 10 Computer Control system.

The system is designed to be as simple as possible for the operator. The only information required is the phone number of the unit and a 3 digit PIN number, everything else is voice prompted when your call to the machine is answered. Within one call you can check the status, start or stop the reel, hear the new status, change the PIN number, change the output numbers etc. You do not need to make separate calls for each function.

Main Features

• Ring out messages, status, and settings are all voice prompted and delivered.
• One phone call does the lot.
• Rings out to user-programmable phone number on any of the following:-
  • Low Water Pressure
  • Stop Sensor Reached
  • Speed Fault
• Users ring-in and hear current status: Hosereel Number, Finish Time, Distance Remaining, Speed.
• Upon entering a PIN code the Hosereel can be Paused / Unpaused.
• Hosereel Number (for identifying which Hosereel you are listening to), phone-out numbers (x 2), PIN code and end of run ring out function (ON/OFF) can be easily set or altered just by dialling in and entering the current PIN code.
• Any user activated SIM card can be used to provide the best signal strength for your area.
• The GSM module and circuit board are discreetly housed within the Program Rain 10 panel inside a lockable box.
• Signal strength indicator mounted on front of Program Rain 10 panel.
• Can be retrofitted on to any existing Program Rain 10 Panel.
