Briggs Irrigation has an unrivalled
track record in providing cost-effective, low labour and above all
environmentally friendly systems for dispersing both dirty water and
separated slurry or other effluent.
The RotoRainer
is the original self travelling irrigator. A RASE Gold Medal award
winner in the 1980s, the updated range is still in production. Capable
of spreading thin slurries as well as separated slurries and dirty
water the RotoRainer can apply
approximately 10m3 per hour.
For spreading larger quantities of low dry matter
liquid including dirty water the Briggs range of boom irrigators is
ideal. The R50, for example, can disperse approximately 70 m3 per
hour.
Booms are are fitted with special rotating sprinklers
which can cope with separated liquid and which provide a low trajectory
with little atomisation, due in part to the low pressure, and therefore
minimising smell. Stainless steel pipework can also be fitted for
corrosive effluent.
