Turf growers can benefit enormously from the controlled application that boom irrigation has to offer. Selecting the optimum droplet size aids turf seed establishment while avoiding damage to the soil surface. The nozzle set up allows the boom to continuously run on to dry ground which also keeps soil pick up on the wheels to a minimum.

Combined with an engine driven hosereel, irrigated widths can be adjusted from only one nozzle working (4 metres) to the maximum with all nozzles working. This is particularly useful for irrigating strips of turf prior to harvesting.
